- Fire ants are typically going to nest in the ground but occasionally nest in wood or masonry.
Little Black Ant [Monosodium minimum]
- 1/32-inch to 1/16-inch jet black color.
- Two Nodes
- These ants will nest any woodwork voids or cracks in cement. Outdoors they can be found under stones/rocks, in rotting logs, in lawns, or in open areas.
